- 2 heads of cos lettuce
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup of water or coconut water
- 1 banana
- 1 apple, cored & chopped
- 1 pear, cored & chopped
- 1 stick of celery
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp Linseed
- Optional: 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 1 Tbsp almond butter
Thoroughly wash lettuce and spinach then roughly chop.
Discard lettuce core.
Slice off skin of lemon and discard.
Add all lemon pith and juice to blender, along with all other ingredients.
NOTES: Recipe makes enough to last two days and keeps well, lemon juice will help keep fresh. Store in fridge until adding to Fressko flask.
Tip: soak seeds in a jar of water the night before. This allows for easier digestion.
